I am originally from New York where I was trained and licensed in hair. I worked in "Midtown" Manhattan for a few years and that was a great learning experience with the world of fashion & design at my fingertips (literally)... as I attended many classes in the area to keep up with ever changing styles. I frequently visit New York and my family "back home" at least once a year, and somehow incorporate a learning adventure to help advance my knowledge with my play time. I have been a master stylist for over 20 years, but I will continue to learn new techniques and styles, in this business you always will! I enjoy doing it all! No favorites or one concentrated area of study, I could never work with just "one" area... I love them all, cuts, colors and body waves.
I am a very personable person that listens very well. When I am not at work I spend time with my daughter and like to go to the beach to relax or lay by my pool soaking in the sunscreen!

I have traveled & lived all over the world! From Ireland (where my father is from and my unique name) to Costa Rica and everywhere in the middle. I take with me all the experiences & people I have met combined with what I have seen as motivation for my work. I love being a hair stylist, as I have been doing it now for 9 years. I am one of the most friendliest & talkative people you will probably ever meet. I love engaging in intellectual conversations about life in general and what makes “you” tick. I feel this helps me in my career, being a good listener & communicator.
I enjoy doing foil highlights and giving that perfect sun kissed look! I can cut a mean short hairstyle, but can let the locks flow with a slight trim when needed. My other time is spent with my gorgeous son. Playing in the sand at the beach or swinging at the park.

I attended Lorraine Technical Institute in the Philippines and have been working as a master hair stylist for over 16 years. I had started my career in Manila in a salon that I worked for 3 years. After moving to Lake Placid NY with my husband I found that the cold weather did not agree with me so we packed our thing and moved to Florida. At that time I attended Darleen McGee Academy, here in Melbourne and after graduation I started working at Regis Hair Salon where I had worked for 8 years. After Regis I worked in a private salon in Melbourne. I have continued to expand my knowledge by attending classes in Ft. Lauderdale FL. and Chicago for advanced training with the Pivot Point System and new techniques in hair styling as well as additional training classes in new styling each year during the International Hair Shows in Orlando FL.
I love doing different hairstyles (except for up do’s) but things like corrective color, spiral perms, color, foil highlight and lowlight are at the top of my list. Making people feel good about themselves is something else that I enjoy about my work. I am a very honest person and will talk about anything that my clients want to talk about. Most people don’t get the chance to see the benefits of the work they do, but I get to see the end result. When a client leaves with a smile on their face it makes me happy as well.
I am happily married with a son that is attending college here in Melbourne and I know that when he finishes he will be pursuing his own life, so I try to enjoy the time that I get to spend with both my husband and son.
Ashley began her career in 2002. Always looking to expand her expertise she took advanced hands on classes and became certified as a Wella color expert. She built a very loyal, diverse clientele ranging anywhere from soft natural looks to edgy avant guard styles. Ready for a new challenge Ashley moved to NYC in January 2008. As she continues to fall more in love with the art of hair, she is constantly inspired by the culture, people, nature, and fashion of her surroundings. Ashley prides herself on the fact that she always makes sure her clients leave happy with a look that is customized just for them and their personality. Now back in Florida Ashley is excited to share how much she has grown and learned as a stylist.
I now have a wonderful gift in my life. I have 3 boys who are such a joy.

I have been doing great hair for over 15 years. I first started out in Michigan where I am from. I love the hair industry because it is always changing. One of my specialties is foil highlights. I have an eye for great detail and thanks to a little "OCD" you will never leave my chair feeling "uneven", unless of course that is what you want, then you will have the most meticulous uneven haircut possible!
I am a proud parent of a beautiful daughter who wants to follow in my footsteps with my profession. I am very supportive to her and her future goals. I am an easy going person who gets along with everyone. I like to go out and have a good time with good drinks and good people!

My creativity started out with my sister's dolls when I gave them all hair cuts and used food coloring to give them a little style. It was only natural that after graduating high school that I went to Brevard Community College for cosmetology.
My first stylist position I worked for my instructor at a small salon in Satellite Beach. Then, I went to Regis where I spent almost seven years which was a great learning experience. After having my amazing son I wanted more time with him. I went to work for a small salon in West Melbourne. Within this time, I was going to school for my A.A. degree which I accomplished in 2006. As I was going to school I realized that owning a salon was my ambition in life. This allows me time for my husband, daughter and son.
I keep up on education by going to classes and online education. This is my passion in life and I love every day that I go to work. In 2016 Pixies Salon has been open for 10 year; I can't believe how time flies. The stylist are a fantastic team!!

I have worked as a professional hair artist since 2004. I have worked with a variety of color lines such as Wella, Goldwell, Paul Mitchell and Scruples. I enjoy participating in "Locks of Love" fund raising events and volunteer in other areas whenever possible.
My style is both classic as well as adventurous and I have experience with all types and styles of hair. I can work from a photo or your ideas to personalize your look. I enjoy taking the time to listen to my clients express their desires and working together in order to achieve their desired result. I keep my styles fresh by continually attending classes in color, hair design, hair extensions, and cutting techniques. I specialize in up do's for those special occasions such as proms, homecomings, and weddings.
I enjoy spending time with my 3 boys. Playing in the pool on a hot sunny day, or reading and coloring with them indoors on a rainy day. Family trips to Disney and Universal ranks pretty high on my list as well as the boys!
